These Terms of Service define the conditions under which UNPLUGG FRANCE, operator of the Unplugg.fr platform, makes available to users, travellers, participants, organizers, partners and providers a platform allowing them to search for, compare, book or access retreats, themed stays, experiences, transport, transfers, activities and other travel-related services.
By using Unplugg.fr, creating an account, publishing an offer, making a booking or using any of the services offered on the platform, you accept these Terms of Service. If you do not accept these Terms, you must not use the platform.
Unplugg.fr is a connection and intermediary platform. Unless expressly stated otherwise, retreats, transport, activities, accommodation, experiences and travel-related services offered on the platform are provided by third-party organizers, carriers, partners or providers, under their own responsibility. Unplugg.fr facilitates search, booking, payment, communication and management of services, but is not the direct provider of the booked service, unless clearly indicated otherwise before booking.

2. Definitions
In these Terms, the following terms have the meanings set out below.
Platform means the Unplugg.fr website, as well as any associated area, interface, tool, dashboard, booking system or digital service.
User means any person who browses, uses, searches, books or accesses a service via Unplugg.fr.
Traveller or Participant means any person benefiting from a retreat, stay, transport, activity or service booked via the platform.
Provider means any retreat organizer, accommodation provider, carrier, local agency, activity provider, vehicle rental company, travel partner or professional offering a service via Unplugg.fr.
Service means any retreat, stay, experience, transport, transfer, activity, accommodation or travel-related service offered or accessible via the platform.
Booking means any order, request, purchase or commitment relating to a Service offered via Unplugg.fr.
3. Role of Unplugg.fr
Unplugg.fr provides a platform allowing Users to discover offers, compare Services, make a Booking, pay for certain Services, exchange with Providers and manage certain information relating to their trip or stay.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Unplugg.fr acts as a technical and commercial intermediary between the User and the Provider. The contract for the actual provision of the Service is concluded between the User and the relevant Provider. The Provider remains responsible for performance of the booked Service, its content, compliance, safety, availability, particular conditions, welcome and any legal or regulatory obligation applicable to them.
Unplugg.fr strives to present offers clearly and reliably, but information relating to Services is mainly provided by Providers. Providers are responsible for the accuracy, updating and compliance of the information they publish, including descriptions, prices, availability, photos, programmes, cancellation conditions, particular requirements, required levels, practical information and any restrictions.
Unplugg.fr may verify, moderate, correct, suspend or remove certain offers where it considers that they do not comply with these Terms, the law, platform quality standards or the interests of users.
4. Access to the platform and account creation
Access to certain Unplugg.fr features may require creating an account. The User undertakes to provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information. Any inaccurate or outdated information may prevent proper performance of a Booking, access to a Service or processing of a request.
The User is responsible for the confidentiality of their login credentials and for all actions carried out from their account. They must inform Unplugg.fr without delay in the event of fraudulent use, loss, theft or suspected unauthorised access to their account.
Unless expressly authorised, the platform is reserved for persons aged at least eighteen or holding the authorisation of a parent or legal representative. Where a Booking is made for a minor, the person making the booking guarantees that they are legally authorised to do so.
Unplugg.fr reserves the right to suspend or close an account in the event of breach of these Terms, fraudulent use, abusive behaviour, false information, harm to platform security or behaviour prejudicial to Unplugg.fr, Users or Providers.
5. Use of the platform
The User undertakes to use Unplugg.fr fairly, normally and in accordance with its intended purpose. They are in particular prohibited from using the platform to make false bookings, harm a Provider or another user, circumvent payment systems, publish unlawful content, transmit misleading information, disrupt the operation of the site, attempt unauthorised access to data or systems, or use the platform for fraudulent purposes.
Unplugg.fr may take any useful measure in the event of abusive use or use contrary to these Terms, including limiting access to certain features, suspending a booking, blocking a payment, removing content, closing an account or reporting behaviour to the competent authorities where necessary.
6. Offers, information and availability
Services offered on Unplugg.fr may be provided in France, Europe or other countries around the world. Each offer may be subject to particular conditions specific to the Provider, destination, type of service, period, currency, local rules or operational requirements.
Before confirming a Booking, the User must carefully read the Service description, dates, price, inclusions, exclusions, cancellation conditions, particular requirements, required documents, required levels, any restrictions and practical information communicated by the Provider.
Photos, descriptions, programmes, durations, times and information displayed on Unplugg.fr are provided for information purposes and may be changed where justified by operational, climatic, regulatory, safety constraints or circumstances beyond the Provider's control. Any significant change must be communicated to the User as soon as possible where Unplugg.fr or the Provider becomes aware of it.
7. Bookings
A Booking is considered confirmed only when the booking process is completed and the User receives confirmation by email, via their account or by any other means indicated on the platform.
Depending on the Service concerned, the Booking may be instant, subject to validation by the Provider, conditional on full payment, conditional on payment of a deposit, or dependent on availability confirmed subsequently. Applicable conditions are indicated before validation of the Booking.
The User is responsible for the accuracy of information transmitted when making the Booking, including names of participants or passengers, contact details, dates, options, particular needs, transport information or required documents. Unplugg.fr and the Provider cannot be held responsible for consequences resulting from inaccurate, incomplete or late information provided by the User.
Where a User books for one or more other people, they guarantee that they are authorised to communicate their information, to accept applicable conditions on their behalf where necessary, and to inform them of the rules applicable to the booked Service.
8. Prices, taxes and fees
Prices displayed on Unplugg.fr are indicated in the currency specified at the time of browsing or booking. Unless stated otherwise, prices may include or exclude certain taxes, service fees, administration fees, payment fees, local fees, insurance, options, transfers, meals, activities or personal expenses.
Before validation of the Booking, the User is informed of the applicable price and known fees at the time of booking. Certain fees may however be payable directly to the Provider or local authorities, including tourist taxes, entry fees, deposits, local supplements or fees relating to options chosen on site, where these fees are clearly indicated or imposed by applicable regulation.
Prices may vary according to availability, season, currency, Provider policies, applicable fees or promotional offers. Once the Booking is confirmed, the applicable price is that validated at the time of the Booking, subject to manifest error.
In the event of manifest error in price, information or availability, Unplugg.fr or the Provider may cancel the Booking and offer, where possible, an alternative solution or refund of sums already paid.
9. Payment
Payment may be made via the means offered on Unplugg.fr at the time of the Booking. Payments are processed by secure payment providers such as Stripe, Klarna and Apple Pay.
Depending on the Service, payment may be collected by Unplugg.fr on behalf of the Provider, directly by the Provider, or by a payment provider acting in the context of transaction processing. Applicable arrangements are specified during the booking process.
The User guarantees that they are authorised to use the chosen payment method and that the information provided is accurate. In the event of refused, incomplete, disputed or fraudulent payment, the Booking may be suspended or cancelled.
Unplugg.fr may carry out security, fraud prevention or compliance checks, in particular where the transaction presents a particular risk. These checks may result in a processing delay, a request for additional information or, in certain cases, refusal of the Booking.
10. Cancellations, changes and refunds
Cancellation, change and refund conditions depend on the booked Service and the particular conditions of the Provider. They are communicated before validation of the Booking and form an integral part of the contract concluded between the User and the Provider.
Certain Bookings may be cancellable free of charge until a certain date, partially refundable, non-refundable, changeable subject to conditions or subject to fees. The User must carefully check applicable conditions before confirming their Booking.
Where a cancellation or change request is made, Unplugg.fr may facilitate communication with the Provider and processing of the request, but the final decision may depend on the Provider's conditions, type of Service, applicable rules, availability and deadlines.
Refunds, where due, are made via the original payment method or any other accepted means, within technically and legally applicable timeframes. Certain payment fees, service fees or fees already incurred may not be refundable where applicable conditions so provide.
Important point: in France, the 14-day right of withdrawal exists for many distance contracts, but it has exceptions, in particular for certain transport, accommodation, car rental, catering or leisure activity services to be provided on a specific date or period. For this reason, each offer must clearly indicate whether a right of withdrawal, free cancellation, refund or change is possible.
Where Unplugg.fr voluntarily chooses to offer a commercial guarantee, a specific cancellation period or a goodwill gesture, this measure does not automatically create a permanent right for other Bookings and does not modify the particular conditions of Providers, unless expressly stated.
11. Retreats, stays and experiences
Retreats, themed stays and experiences offered via Unplugg.fr may include different elements depending on the offer: accommodation, meals, activities, support, teaching, local transport, equipment, transfers or supplementary services. The exact scope of the Service is that indicated on the offer page and confirmed at the time of the Booking.
The User must ensure that the chosen Service matches their expectations, level, physical condition, personal constraints and needs. Certain retreats or activities may require a minimum level, good physical condition, insurance, specific equipment, medical authorisation or compliance with particular rules.
The Provider is responsible for organisation, delivery and safety of the Service they provide. Unplugg.fr may support the User in case of difficulty, but does not replace the Provider in their operational obligations.
12. Transport, transfers and mobility
Unplugg.fr may allow users to search for, compare, book or access transport, transfer, mobility, vehicle rental or travel services offered by third-party Providers.
These Services are subject to the particular conditions of the relevant carrier, rental company, agency or partner. These conditions may relate in particular to schedules, routes, baggage, delays, cancellations, changes, required documents, minimum age, driving licence, security deposit, insurance, additional fees, safety rules or local restrictions.
The User is responsible for checking information relating to their journey, documents, schedules, connections, transfer times and rules applicable in the relevant country. Unplugg.fr cannot be held responsible for consequences resulting from a delay, missing document, incorrect information, refusal of boarding, change imposed by a carrier or circumstance beyond the platform's control, unless fault directly attributable to Unplugg.fr.
13. Documents, formalities and traveller obligations
The User is responsible for checking and obtaining all documents necessary for their trip or participation in the booked Service. Depending on the destination and Service, this may include identity documents, passport, visa, driving licence, parental authorisation, insurance, certificate, supporting document, health document or any other document required by authorities or the Provider.
Unplugg.fr may provide general information, but does not guarantee the completeness or currency of administrative, health, customs, tax or travel rules applicable in each country. The User must check applicable rules with the competent authorities before departure.
Any refusal of access, boarding, participation or performance of the Service resulting from a missing, invalid or non-compliant document is the responsibility of the User, unless fault directly attributable to Unplugg.fr.
14. Insurance
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Services offered on Unplugg.fr do not necessarily include travel, cancellation, health, repatriation, liability, baggage or accident insurance.
It is the User's responsibility to check whether they have insurance suited to the booked Service, their destination, planned activities, potential risks and their personal situation. Certain Providers may require specific insurance to participate in a retreat, sporting activity, experience or transport.
Unplugg.fr may offer or recommend insurance via partners, but these contracts are provided by the relevant insurers and subject to their own conditions.
15. User conduct
The User undertakes to adopt respectful conduct towards Providers, organizers, other participants, local teams, drivers, hosts, guides, teachers and any person involved in the booked Service.
Any violent, threatening, discriminatory, dangerous, fraudulent, disrespectful, unlawful conduct or conduct contrary to the Provider's rules may result in refusal of access to the Service, exclusion from the activity or stay, cancellation of the Booking, suspension of the account or any other appropriate measure. In such cases, no refund is guaranteed if the User's conduct is the cause of the measure taken.
16. Content, reviews and comments
Users may be authorised to publish reviews, ratings, comments, photos or other content on Unplugg.fr. By publishing content, the User guarantees that it is genuine, lawful, not misleading, respectful of third-party rights and based on a real experience where it is a review.
Unplugg.fr may moderate, refuse, hide or remove any content it considers contrary to these Terms, the law, publication rules, third-party rights or the legitimate interests of the platform. Content must not contain insults, discriminatory remarks, unauthorised personal information, fraudulent content, unsolicited advertising, defamatory statements or manifestly inaccurate elements.
By publishing content on Unplugg.fr, the User authorises Unplugg.fr to use, reproduce, display, technically adapt and distribute it on the platform or in its communications, to the extent necessary for promotion, operation and improvement of services.
17. Professional organizers, partners and providers
Providers wishing to publish offers on Unplugg.fr must provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information concerning their identity, activity, authorisations, offers, prices, availability, conditions, insurance and legal obligations.
The Provider guarantees that they hold all rights, authorisations, licences, qualifications, insurance and means necessary to offer and perform Services published on Unplugg.fr. They alone are responsible for the content of their offers, quality of Services provided, compliance with applicable laws, participant safety, operational management of bookings and handling of complaints relating to performance of the Service.
Unplugg.fr may refuse, suspend or remove an offer or professional account if the Provider provides inaccurate information, does not meet platform standards, presents a risk to Users, breaches the law or violates these Terms.
Commercial conditions applicable to professional Providers, including commissions, subscriptions, payments, Premium tools, Premium+ tools, visibility, statistics, personalised emails or advanced features, may be specified in particular conditions, a partner contract, a dashboard or dedicated documentation.
19. Intellectual property
The Unplugg.fr platform, its structure, design, texts, interfaces, databases, trademarks, logos, visuals, graphic elements, features, software and content created by Unplugg.fr are protected by applicable intellectual property rights.
Nothing in these Terms transfers to the User or Provider any ownership right over the platform or its elements. Any reproduction, extraction, modification, distribution, reuse, commercial exploitation or unauthorised use of all or part of Unplugg.fr is prohibited.
Providers retain rights over content they provide, such as photos, descriptions, trademarks, logos or texts, but grant Unplugg.fr authorisation to use it as necessary for display, distribution, technical adaptation, promotion and operation on the platform, for the duration of publication of their offers and for the needs of the service.
20. Personal data protection
By using Unplugg.fr, the User acknowledges having been informed of the existence of this Privacy Policy, which explains in particular what data is collected, why it is used, with whom it may be shared, how long it is retained and what rights may be exercised.
21. Platform availability and operation
Unplugg.fr strives to ensure proper functioning and accessibility of the platform. However, access may be temporarily interrupted or limited for maintenance, updates, security, technical incident, overload, force majeure or an event beyond our control.
Unplugg.fr does not guarantee that the platform will be permanently accessible, error-free, uninterrupted or free from vulnerability. We nevertheless make reasonable best efforts to correct reported malfunctions and maintain an appropriate level of service.
22. Liability
Unplugg.fr is liable only for direct damage resulting from fault directly attributable to it in connection with operation of the platform.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Unplugg.fr is not responsible for the actual performance of Services provided by Providers, including the quality of a retreat, delivery of an activity, conduct of an organizer, transport delay, cancellation imposed by a carrier, programme change, local unavailability, administrative decision, weather problem, incident caused by a third party or incorrect information provided by a Provider.
Unplugg.fr cannot be held responsible for indirect damage, loss of opportunity, loss of income, loss of business, moral prejudice, personal expenses, ancillary costs or consequences resulting from an event beyond its control, unless a contrary legal provision applies.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, in particular in the event of gross negligence, intentional fault or mandatory legal obligation.
23. Force majeure
No party may be held responsible for a failure resulting from force majeure or an event reasonably beyond its control. This may include, without limitation, natural disaster, fire, flood, pandemic, war, civil unrest, strike, administrative decision, border closure, travel restriction, transport disruption, major outage, cyberattack, failure of an essential supplier or exceptional weather event.
In such a situation, Unplugg.fr and/or the relevant Provider will make reasonable best efforts to inform the User and, where possible, offer an appropriate solution according to the conditions applicable to the booked Service.
24. Complaints and assistance
In the event of a problem relating to a Booking or Service, the User must contact Unplugg.fr or the relevant Provider as soon as possible, providing the information necessary to handle their request.
Unplugg.fr may intervene to facilitate communication between the User and the Provider, help understand applicable conditions or support handling of a complaint. However, where the dispute directly concerns performance of the Service by a Provider, that Provider remains responsible for its resolution, unless fault attributable to Unplugg.fr.
The User must report any problem during delivery of the Service where an immediate solution could be offered. Late reporting may limit possibilities for resolution, compensation or investigation.
25. Termination, suspension and account deletion
The User may request deletion of their account according to the methods available on the platform or by contacting Unplugg.fr.
Unplugg.fr may suspend or close an account in the event of breach of these Terms, fraud, abusive use, inappropriate conduct, security risk, non-payment, serious dispute, legal obligation or request from a competent authority.
Deletion of an account does not affect confirmed Bookings, sums due, legal obligations, retention obligations or rights acquired before deletion.
26. Changes to the Terms
Unplugg.fr may amend these Terms to take account of changes to its services, features, partners, business model, applicable regulation or technical constraints.
The applicable version is that in force at the time of use of the platform or validation of the Booking. In the event of a significant change, Unplugg.fr may inform Users by email, notification or a visible message on the platform.
If the User does not accept the new Terms, they must stop using Unplugg.fr.
27. Applicable law and dispute resolution
These Terms are governed by French law, unless a mandatory contrary provision applies in the consumer's country of residence.
In the event of a dispute, the User is invited to contact Unplugg.fr first to seek an amicable solution. Where the dispute concerns performance of a Service by a Provider, Unplugg.fr may facilitate exchanges, but the relevant Provider remains the responsible contact for performance of the Service.
Failing amicable resolution, the dispute may be brought before the competent courts in accordance with applicable rules.
For consumers, rules relating to consumer mediation may apply where legal conditions are met. Mediator details will be published once available.
Consumer mediator: to be confirmed
28. Miscellaneous provisions
If any clause of these Terms is declared null, invalid or unenforceable, the other clauses shall remain in force.
Failure by Unplugg.fr to exercise immediately a right provided for in these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that right.
These Terms, particular conditions displayed at the time of Booking, Booking confirmation, Privacy Policy and, where applicable, Provider conditions constitute the entire contractual framework applicable to use of the platform and the booked Service.
