Back to account security

At Unplugg.fr, we want to make searching for, comparing and booking retreats, stays, experiences, transport and travel-related services as accessible as possible for as many users as we can.

We know that digital accessibility is not a cosmetic detail. It is essential to allow everyone to use a travel platform independently, clearly and safely — including people with disabilities, people who use assistive technologies, older adults, or anyone facing a temporary difficulty accessing information.

This Accessibility Statement explains the commitments of UNPLUGG FRANCE, operator of the Unplugg.fr platform, regarding the accessibility of its digital services.

1. Services covered

This Statement applies to the digital services offered by Unplugg.fr, including the website, its mobile versions, search pages, booking pages, user areas, organizer areas, management tools, information pages, contact forms and payment flows accessible from the platform.

Unplugg.fr allows users to search for, compare, book or access retreats, themed stays, experiences, transport, transfers, activities and other travel-related services offered by organizers, partners, carriers or providers located in France, Europe or other countries around the world.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Unplugg.fr acts as a connection and intermediary platform. Retreats, transport, activities and travel-related services are provided by the relevant providers, under their own responsibility.

2. Our commitment to accessibility

We strive to design and improve Unplugg.fr so that essential information, features and journeys are accessible, understandable and usable by as many people as possible.

Our goal is in particular to allow users to browse the platform, view offers, compare services, understand prices and conditions, create an account, make a booking, contact support, manage their bookings and access important information without unnecessary barriers.

We aim to apply recognised good practices in digital accessibility, in particular by following the principles applicable to web content accessibility: making content perceivable, interfaces operable, information understandable and services compatible with assistive technologies.

3. Measures implemented

In designing and evolving Unplugg.fr, we seek to integrate accessibility from the design, development, editorial and testing stages.

This means in particular that we pay close attention to page structure, text readability, colour contrast, the size of interactive elements, navigation consistency, the use of clear headings, form comprehension, clarity of error messages and compatibility with assistive tools where technically possible.

We also work to make essential journeys accessible by keyboard, to provide relevant alternative text for important images, to avoid unnecessarily complex content, to provide information written in plain language, and to allow use of the platform on different devices and screen sizes.

When visual content, maps, images, icons, tables, filters, calendars or interactive components are used, we seek to design them so that they do not block access to essential information for users who cannot perceive or use them in a standard way.

4. Accessibility of travel information

Unplugg.fr offers or facilitates access to travel-related services, retreats, experiences, transport and activities. These services may involve very different physical, logistical or accessibility conditions depending on the providers, locations, countries and infrastructure concerned.

We encourage organizers, partners and providers to provide information that is as accurate as possible regarding the accessibility of their offers, including access to venues, mobility conditions, available equipment, physical constraints, required levels, adaptation options, local transport, accessible rooms, sanitary facilities, access routes, stairs, lifts, dietary requirements or particular needs that may be accommodated.

This information is generally provided by the providers themselves. Unless stated otherwise, Unplugg.fr does not independently guarantee the complete accuracy of this information, but may intervene to request clarification, correct manifestly inaccurate information or facilitate communication between the user and the provider.

Before any booking, we recommend that users with specific accessibility needs carefully review the information displayed on the offer and, if necessary, contact Unplugg.fr or the relevant provider to obtain written confirmation of the conditions of welcome.

5. Booking journey and support

We seek to make the booking journey as clear as possible, in particular by presenting important information before confirmation: service description, dates, price, inclusions, exclusions, cancellation conditions, practical information, particular requirements, required documents and support contact details.

When errors are detected in a form, we strive to provide understandable messages that allow the user to identify the problem and correct it.

If a user encounters difficulty viewing an offer, making a booking, changing information, contacting a provider or using a platform feature, they may contact our support so that we can seek a reasonable solution where possible.

6. Organizer and partner areas

Accessibility also concerns organizers, partners and providers who use Unplugg.fr to publish their offers, manage availability, track bookings, communicate with travellers, view statistics or use professional features.

We seek to design professional areas in a clear, structured and usable way, so that providers can manage their offers without unnecessary complexity. Premium or Premium+ features, where they exist, should also be designed with readable and understandable access in mind.

We encourage providers to improve the quality and accuracy of accessibility information in their offers. A well-written offer should allow the user to know, before booking, whether the service truly meets their needs.

7. Current limitations

Despite our efforts, some parts of Unplugg.fr may not yet be fully accessible. This may concern certain interactive components, third-party content, images submitted by providers, maps, calendars, payment modules, external tools, partner integrations or older pages that have not yet been fully reviewed.

Some services accessible via Unplugg.fr may also depend on third-party providers. Their own website, tool, form, payment service, transport, accommodation or welcome venue may have a different level of accessibility from what we seek for Unplugg.fr.

We are progressively working to identify, correct and prevent accessibility barriers, prioritising essential journeys: search, viewing offers, booking, payment, account management, customer support and important information related to the booked service.

8. Continuous improvement

Accessibility is an ongoing process. We seek to integrate it progressively into our working methods, design choices, technical development, editorial content and quality testing.

As the platform evolves, we may carry out internal checks, correct reported issues, improve page structure, strengthen compatibility with assistive technologies and adjust user journeys when barriers are identified.

We also strive to raise awareness among people working on Unplugg.fr of the importance of digital accessibility, in particular in content writing, interface design, feature development and user support.

9. Reporting an accessibility issue

If you encounter an accessibility difficulty on Unplugg.fr, we invite you to contact us so that we can review the issue and seek a reasonable solution.

To help us handle your request effectively, you may specify, where possible, the page concerned, the feature used, the type of difficulty encountered, the device or browser used, and any assistive technology involved.

You can contact us at the following address:

accessibility@unplugg.fr

or, alternatively:

contact@unplugg.fr

If your request concerns the physical accessibility of a retreat, accommodation, transport, activity or venue, we can help you obtain additional information, but the relevant provider is generally best placed to confirm the exact conditions of welcome and accessibility of the service.
